We are ambassadors of the City of Venice, for our magnificent museums and our unique cultural and creative heritage, which are owned by the entire world, as recognized by UNESCO. Our mission is the preservation and enhancement of all our artistic expressions, such as art, design, culture, food, fashion, music, science and more, which are our strengths, pride and sense of belonging to our unique “Italian way of life”. Venice and its surroundings have an extraordinary history and a contemporary and innovative identity.
Through Friends of Venice, we will raise awareness of an issue that defines the Venetian identity, its challenges, culture and creativity: water. Water has always been the element that connects the city to the world and coalesces all the converging beauties into the spark of life.
